TheWoodDepot.com ships all products via a third
party freight carrier.
When determining shipping cost, our freight system
automatically compares the cost of numerous freight
companies with routes to your area and selects the
one with the best possible rate.
Once the appropriate freight carrier is selected,
you will be notified of shipment and issued a
tracking number and a Bill of Lading.
It is your responsibility to make arrangements
with the freight company for the delivery of your
product.
Processing time after you have placed your order
with us is within 24 hours.
Transit time for deliveries is usually
approximately 7-10 days.
Due to the possibility of freight transit delays
and/or accessories or tools arriving sooner or later
than the flooring products, it is recommended that
you wait to schedule the installation of your floor
until you've received all items necessary for your
project.
Important items regarding freight delivery.

During the shipping process, TheWoodDepot.com's
only responsibility is to get your product to the
closest terminal to the delivery location.
Unless otherwise specified on your signed invoice,
ALL deliveries will be curbside deliveries.
Someone MUST be available to accept and sign for
the delivery.
The individual who accepts delivery MUST check for
correct quantity and item numbers, as well as
damaged items BEFORE signing the order. PLEASE
INSPECT THE PRODUCT.
Unloading the product off the truck and bringing
it into your home is YOUR responsibility. Typically
freight drivers will only aid you in getting the
cartons off the truck.
Any additional services (lift-gate, inside
delivery) are at the sole financial responsibility
of the customer. TheWoodDepot.com is not responsible
for any additional fees or charges incurred as a
result of customer add-ons.
Home-based businesses do not qualify for
business-to-business deliveries. Your business MUST
be in a commercially zoned location in order to
qualify for such deliveries. If you so choose to
falsify statements regarding delivery location all
re-consignment, re-delivery or any other fees or
additional costs incurred as a result will be the
sole responsibility of the customer.
If you live in an area inaccessible to large
trucks (such as some rural locations) you will be
responsible for arranging with the carrier pick-up
of the product or alternative delivery options. You
are also responsible for any additional charges
incurred.
